I have had this wrist monitor for several years now. Contrary to the other review so far, this monitor is meant to be placed so that the face (the part where you see the readings) is on the underside of your wrist just below your palm (where the nurse takes your pulse). If you put the face on the upper side of your wrist (incorrect placement), the reading would be off because it’s not able to read at the pulse. I have taken it in and had its reading compared with the cuff in my doctor’s office, and it’s right on.
