Like other reviewers, I too have this light as well as a “Mighty Bright”. For a fair comparison of these two lights it is important to mention the advantages as well as the limitations of each respective lights. As is appropriately named, the “Mighty Bright” certainly out-shines (no pun intended) the e-illuminator when comparing light intensity and coverage area of the DX screen. The intensity is subjectively twice as bright as the e-illuminator and the Mighty Bright light easily covers the entire area of the DX screen.
